A recent report by Richard Florida and Ian Hathaway demonstrates the United States is the birthplace of modern, high-tech startups, and a country full of entrepreneurs. And one thing a country of entrepreneurs is always looking for—and similarly a media who covers them—is how to expand successfully and quickly. In other words, new businesses in the modern age are, by the very essence of their DNA, always looking for growth hacking techniques.

Furthermore, in an economic climate defined by technology and globalization, startups must innovate and grow quickly to survive. But growth and survival relies on attracting and retaining top talent. PEOs help businesses not only survive by providing benefits and culture that keep talent once they arrive, but also grow–and grow rapidly.

While the media demonstrates an interest in the benefits of PEOs, generally speaking, a concerted effort to frame the benefits of PEOs as a growth hacking strategy will unlock a wider range of reporters/bloggers and media attention.
